What is SEELE?

By category, SEELE is an AI game creation platform — an AI game generator, an AI game maker — but with a fundamental difference from tool-layer products: it is not a wrapper around someone else's API. SEELE builds its own full model stack, which means generation quality, editing consistency, and world persistence are all defined by its own models, not borrowed ones.

The company is built on a simple observation: games are the last major content medium that ordinary people still cannot create. Writing was democratized by blogs, photography by smartphones, video by short-video platforms — but making a game still demands engines, code, and months of specialized work.

SEELE removes that barrier at the model layer, not just the tool layer. We build the eva01 and Seele02 multimodal foundation models and the PEGA world model, and we offer the SeeleAgent cloud workspace, Seele API, and Seele Community — creation, distribution, and monetization on a single platform, with creators keeping creative control and sharing in the revenue their games generate.

The name: Seele is named after the organization in Neon Genesis Evangelion that planned the Human Instrumentality Project. The word itself is German — it means soul. Our Chinese name is 全灵 (Quanling), “all souls.” Our slogan: Let Our Soul Interact. We didn't start Seele because AI game production is a short-term wave. We started it because humanity's experience at the level of spirit and soul has not gotten better over the past decade, even as technology raced ahead. Technology made information distribution radically more efficient — and also made low-quality content easier to mass-produce and mass-consume. Film, games, music, literature — the content that actually shapes people's inner worlds — never saw a renaissance to match the pace of technology.

We chose games because games are the most interactive content form we have. Unlike video, which is fed to you one-way, a game asks you to participate, choose, and think — and yet its barrier to entry is lower than literature's, making it the most likely candidate for a mass-scale experience of the mind.

AI will dramatically lower the cost of producing high-quality games and interactive content, freeing genuinely talented people from the constraints of budgets, team sizes, and industrial pipelines. What Seele wants is not to produce more low-quality content, but to use AI to expand the supply of high-quality interactive experiences.

So AI game production, for us, is not merely a cost-cutting tool. It is the next generation of interactive content infrastructure. In the long run, we hope it lets better imagination, better stories, and better experiences of the mind be created — and experienced — by far more people.
