Routine becomes the monster
Midnight Signal
Keep a remote station alive while something in the dark learns your routine.

Creative direction
Build the idea, not just the scene.
A restrained horror simulation where the player develops a nightly maintenance routine—and the unseen threat gradually learns how to interrupt it.
Build a first-person horror simulation called Midnight Signal. The player is alone in a remote relay station and must keep power, heat, communications, and perimeter lights working until dawn.
Create a set of physical maintenance tasks that become familiar over the first nights. An unseen presence should observe the order, timing, and shortcuts the player uses, then begin creating subtle exceptions to that routine. Never reveal a complete monster. Use radio interference, displaced tools, impossible signal logs, and changes outside the windows.
The player should survive through observation and adaptation rather than weapons. Include multiple station layouts, an accessibility mode that converts important audio cues into visual signals, and an ending determined by which transmissions the player chose to send.
